Today was a terribly stressful day with Zachariah. He got up too early, was grouchy all day, refused to nap (but finally did).
Then I spent the bulk of my afternoon making cookies for Matt to take to work tomorrow. I ran out of powdered sugar, so I wasn't able to decorate them like I wanted. But I did get enough done for him to take.
By the time Matt got home from work, I was exhausted. But I'd made plans to attend the Taste of Home Cooking School with some friends from church. It was a blast. I needed the time away, and I'm so glad I went.
And I'm thankful that Matt helped by taking care of Zachariah solo for two nights in a row now. (I had choir practice Wednesday.) Thanks Babe!
