SEVEN 7 seven

Tag, I'm it. I got tagged for a meme by Carrie. I wasn't sure I would do it, but everyone else is and I have nothing better to blog about. So here goes.

The rules are as follows:

3. Share seven random and/or weird facts about yourself on your blog.

My random/weird facts:

1. Matt and I are addicted to Big Brother. We've watched it loyally every summer since Season 2 in 2001. Right now we're happy to have a winter season to watch. Although, I have to say that this season isn't too great for me, but I still watch each and every episode.

2. My sisters and I all used to pile in a twin bed together once in a while and thought it was great fun. Oh, I should mention it was the top bunk. Ha. I usually bailed first (but it was my bed).

3. When I went into the hospital to have Zachariah, a group from a local school came in to present me with 2 new Dr. Seuss books. It was Dr. Seuss's birthday, so they were giving books to all the babies born that day. Zachariah wasn't born until the next day though. I was just there for observation the day before and then was induced the next morning. They still wanted to give him the books. I couldn't refuse. I love children's books.

4. Did I ever tell you that Matt crawled out from behind a rock when he proposed to me. He was taking too long back there (we were hiking and I was waiting to take a photo), and I thought he was going to scare me with a bug. I was surprised though.

5. I know how to play the French horn. (I wish I'd gotten the chance to play it more when I could.)

6. My baby sister just turned 22 this week. I remember the day she was born (or night rather). It was in the middle of an ice storm.

7. As a kid my first job was delivering newspapers. I did it for 7 years! It was a good way to learn about responsibility and money.
