This is no April Fools joke. I am challenging myself this month in Spring Cleaning. Yes, you read that right. I am going to make a BIG effort to do this.
Here is the challenge. Every day (weekday? 4 days a week?- whatever works) I will do one extra housecleaning project. This meaning something other than the normal laundry, dishes, dusting, vacuuming, bathroom scrubbing, etc.
Right now all my closets and cabinets need emptied out, cleaned, and reorganized. So that is where I plan to start.
Here is my list (and I'm sure it will grow and change):
*bathroom closet
*Zachariah's bedroom closet (that's a big one!)
*my bedroom closet
*hallway cabinet and drawers
*pantry
*upper pantry cabinet
*office cabinet
Some of these things will be a more than one day project, so it will definitely keep me busy. I will get to work and post my progress here.
How about you? Do you need to do some spring cleaning? Would you like to join my challenge? We can encourage each other. Tell me what you need to do with your house. You can leave comments here or post about it on your own blog.

Our recent move means I don't need the spring cleaning b/c I have already suffered, just in a different way. Good luck to you! You'll feel great when you're all done.
I need to clean out my kitchen cupboards too. They're organized ok still, but probably getting a little dirty. And the kids clothes are always a bit unorganized. Or at least it feels that way. I think there's just TOO MANY of them, period.
Oh yeah, and our garage is hideous. Don't even want to think about it.
I'm gonna take your advice. Let's see how April goes. You should create a button & stuff for it, then we will have our own club of Spring Cleaners...
I've started my own spring cleaning around here lately. I have so many things to do though that it seems almost endless. I have to organize the laundry room, clean out the kitchen cupboards and pantry and do a good scrub of the kitchen floor by hand, organize both of the closets in my room, plus Josiah's clothes, go through all of the boxed up clothes to see what I have for spring/summer, Michael's closet, rayden and Chris's closet, the linen closet, the front hall closet, and the living room bookshelf. Then I get to focus on the yard. Fun times!
Good luck with your cleaning, I know Ill be right here sharing in the fun.
I need a new house, :)
No matter how much I clean it doesn't change the fact that we are out growing our place. And to think we only have one baby!!!
