Have you met Pingu yet? He's an interesting fellow. He is a mischievous little penguin who is always looking for trouble....errr....adventure. There are so many things that a little penguin can do in the good ole South Pole. In Pingu's South Pole Adventures Pingu meets up with the Abominable Snowman. He does many other fun things too.Zachariah enjoyed this DVD with the funny penguin. It puts me in mind of the Shaun the Sheep DVD that we viewed not long before. There is little to no talking going on, and it is really silly comedy. But I believe it is fun for the target audience of children ages 2-8.

Sounds like a cute movie!!
It looks so cute! I enjoy skiing, but only for a day or two at a time. And since we live so far from snow, I only get to go every five years or so.
Favorite winter sport? Hmm, snowman building??!
Pingu used to be on PBS Sprout. We haven't watched that channel since the big boy grew out of it, but he always did love Pingu. I have little picture of Pingu he drew in his baby book.
I don't have a favorite winter sport because we live in the deep south. I guess football is a fall sport so thats as close as it gets.

I've been looking for good holiday movies to watch with Violet, she's been glued on watching the Chipmunks day in and day out :D
I would have to say my favorite winter sport would have to be figure skating also, skating myself and watching :D
I went cross-country skiing once and had a pleasantly surprising good time. It's the only winter sport I can think of. :)
My current favorite winter sport is movie night with a fire going.
I used to really enjoy ice skating though.

I like watching skiing, does that count? I can't ski to save my life.. I think I'd enjoy it if I could stop. Or maybe if I knew I could go reallyreally fast and then there would be an uphill to slow me down. Stopping is important.
